    Superb

Staff were helpful from start to finish, really friendly, great breakfast. The bed in our room was also the comfiest bed I ever slept in!

We cycled but if you didn't have a bike/car, you probably wouldn't be able to reach it easily. But once you are there it's great.

    Fabulous

Easy to find. Friendly and helpful. Clean and hygenic.

I wasn't expecting a 'travel lodge' type accommodation but that was probably my lack of research. I felt that £7.50 on top of the £40 accommodation was a little steep for the type of accommodation, especially for elderly people.

    Very good

Great hotel with good price/quality ratio, a little detached from inhabited centers. Useful for having tours in Wiltshire with car, not so far from Stonehenge, Avebury and other similar sites.

Just a pub within 3 km for dinner, unless you are an Indian food lover (an Indian restaurant is just close to the hotel). Beds in the triple room are very narrow.

    Good

The bed are comfortables and the room although on the small side is quite cozy. I would however not call this a four star hotel, more like a motel, easy to find as it is just off a dual carriage way, on the edge of New Forest.

The Lack of services, of you need anything you need to ring as there is no one at reception, this also make its security dubious. While in the morning due to breakfast and room cleaning there are people, the reception is attended only for check-in/out. I personally associate services as well as comfort in a four star Hotel

    Exceptional

I can thoroughly recommend this hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and the decor/furnishings superb The location is somewhat isolated but with a car that presents no problem. Convenient for Salisbury. I have not rated the services because other than making a coffee/watching TV I did not use them.

    Superb

Cosy, warm, good breakfast, clean, nice shower

Little bit of a walk/drive to closest restaurants/bars for evening meal

    Fabulous

It's a decent place to stay on the edge of the New Forest. It's not luxurious but then you aren't paying for that and I didn't want that. It was clean, comfortable, friendly and good value..

Free parking and an indian next door. I requested a double bed instead of two beds pushed together and we received exactly what we asked for. Free wireless internet

Bath tap didn't work, if you want to fill up bath you had to use a shower. As a couple, baths in hotels are kind of essential. Tv didn't work, signal kept dropping out and it made a loud buzzing sound. Cannot complain too much as we didn't travel there to watch tv however if you are looking for a hotel with all the mod cons this is not it. The facilities are pretty average and the staff (although not unfriendly) are not keen to engage you in anyway. If you want that country hotel where the owners greet you warmly, tell you about the history of the place and tell you all the great local stuff in the area, then do not pick this place. Frankly this is a pit stop along the way, rather than a weekend retreat.

    Fabulous

The softest bed in the world! Nice rooms, good bathroom and shower pressure. Generally a nice atmosphere. Really good Indian resturant on site too.

You really are in the middle of nowhere. There is the one Resturant and it's a few hundred yards from a pub, but there is no village or anything within walking distance. You have to drive, no good if you want to relax with a drink.

    Exceptional

The New Forest Lodge was well up to expectations, good location.very clean and tidy very helpful staff, what more could you ask for. We would recommend it and we will book again if we need to stay in that area again. Be sure to find The Cuckoo Inn for a great choice of beer and good company, forget the Poacher.

If I had to find one it would be the sausages at breakfast, (I know I didn't have to eat them).
